Nubian dairy goats were the first breed here at Ivory Oak, and also the animals that turned this place into a farm! We love their personalities and how much they enjoy attention. It hasn't until we brought Alpines into the herd that we realized just how noisy and needy the Nubians really are! 

When Ivory Oak first started, we began with unregistered & American animals. A year into our venture, we had the opportunity to sell that herd and start again with the purebred animals that our herd consists of today. With the exception of a few animals that we brought here from California, we primarily use Blissberry genetics and are grateful for their contribution to our herd.
